June 26, 2007 my mother was diagnosed with Lung cancer. 39 days days later on Aug 3, 2007 she died. My life has never been the same. To make sense of this and help cope it is my determination to try to help raise money for research so that i may be able to see in my lifetime a cure for cancer.
To do this I found a great and fun way to raise donations. This year, my dog and I are teaming up with the American Cancer Society to help save lives by participating in the American Cancer Society Bark For Life, and I’m hoping you will support me. http://main.acsevents.org/goto/Frankie.Sinatra. Bark For Life is a dog walk event that gives dog owners (and the dogs that love them!) an opportunity to come together to raise funds to help the American Cancer Society save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. Please support my efforts by visiting my personal web page to make a secure, tax-deductible online donation. Every donation really does make a difference. We know that times are tighter than normal for many of us, but any amount you can give truly can help fight against cancer. Each of us has our own reasons for caring about the fight against cancer. Whatever your reasons, we hope you’ll choose to make a difference with an online donation to support our efforts. We’re so grateful to have people like you in our lives who want to see an end to cancer in our lifetime. Together, we can save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. Thank you and we will keep you updated on our progress.
